TRX TRAINING

 

TRX is a functional type of training that utilizes body weight to create a resistance workout. Trx training conditions the body by building cardio endurance as well as creating strong, lean muscle mass. Core strength and stability as well as flexibility are also strengthened/increased by training on the TRX. Yoga Matt offers over 25 small group training classes each week to meet the needs of our clients. Our class levels range from beginner to advanced and the maximum number of participants per class is 8. The majority of classes integrate TRX with Kettlebell, H.I.I.T. And ployometric exercises. Regardless of the level of the class, all classes are designed to challenge the participants.

 

HOW TO GET STARTED?

 

All clients with no experience are required to participate in at least one TRX Basics class to learn proper form and alignment. On-line registration is available.

 

BEGINNER CLASSES

 

TRX Level 1

 

A class specifically designed for beginners or clients with minimal TRX experience to teach proper form and alignment when training on the TRX. This class will help condition your body for more advanced training on the TRX.

TRX Strength Training & Core

 

A multi level class focusing on creating long lean muscles through various TRX and kettlebell exercises. This class will focus on strengthing the core through functional training techniques utilizing slam bells, Dynamax balls and plyometric exercises.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASSES

 

Clients are required to have TRX experience and/or should have participated in at least one TRX Basics or other beginner class before participating in any intermediate classes.

 

TRX Body Sculpt 360

 

A circuit style class focused on toning, strengthening and building endurance. TRX Body Sculpt 360 is a fast paced class that combines TRX training with metabolic and plyometric exercises to condition and tone the body through various push, pull, core and cardio exercises.

TRX Cardio Blast

 

A full body TRX workout combined with high intensity cardio exercises. Exercises are focused on duration instead of repetitions to build cardio endurance.

A full body TRX workout targeting all major muscle groups. This workout focuses on number of repetitions per exercise. Equal time is spent on upper body, lower body & core to help build lean muscle and core strength.

For all fitness levels. This TRX/Rip trainer workout focuses on core strength, conditioning & stability. All exercises target core muscles. Tremendous concentration on abdominal exercises.

Armed & Dangerous

 

This is a high intensity, fast paced workout which targets arms and core exclusively. TRX, Rip Trainer, kettlebells and resistance bands are utilized to develop biceps, triceps & abdominal /core muscles. No kettlebell experience required.

Top Guns

 

An intermediate to advanced workout. This high intensity, fast paced workout targets the upper half of your body. All exercises focus on chest, back, shoulders & core. TRX, kettlebells and resistance bands are utilized to develop targeted muscle groups.

INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED CLASSES

 

All clients must have TRX experience and feel comfortable with resistance training before participating in the following classes.

 

TRX Hip, Thigh & Butt Buster

 

This fast paced class is designed to sculpt and create lean muscle in the lower region body parts including legs, glutes and hips through the use of TRX, kettlebells, plyometric and metabolic exercise. This class also includes core strengthening exercises as well as movements to build cardiovascular endurance. Kettlebell experience not required.

Rip Trainer/Kettlebell Fusion

 

An intermediate to advanced workout designed for experienced fitness enthusiasts physically conditioned. An intense full body workout integrating Rip Trainer and kettlebell exercises. This class will build strength and stability in the core as well as increase your cardiovascular endurance. No Rip Trainer experience required, kettlebell experience is necessary.

RIP TRAINER TRAINING

 

The Rip Trainer is a functional training device created by the same founders of TRX. Rip Trainer workouts focus on building core strength and stability. These workouts will assist to increase your metabolism and build lean muscle mass around the obliques and waist as many of the exercises are rotational in nature. It's unique quality of targeting core strength and stability lend it to be a great training device for athletes. Many exercises mimic sport specific movements found in tennis, golf, hockey and lacrosse.

Rip Trainer classes are limited to 6-8 people. Pre registration is required. Clients training on the Rip Trainer should have functional training experience and should be physically conditioned. Any questions ... email or call the studio.

 

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE

 

Get Ripped

 

This full body work out will build cardiovascular endurance while strengthening and stabilizing the core. Get Ripped is a fast paced class that will build lean muscle while increasing your metabolism and is designed for fitness enthusiasts in good physical shape. Focus will be on alignment and proper form. Rip Trainer experience is not required.
